Dr. Priyanka Singh, did her B.Sc. in Microbiology (Honours) from the University of Delhi, India and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Thereafter, she pursued her Ph.D. from the University of Muenster, Germany. Following her PhD, she secured EMBO-Long-term fellowship to pursue her post-doctorate at the Biozentrum, Basel, Switzerland. Then, she joined the Max Planck Institute, Dortmund, Germany to pursue her second post-doctorate with Alexander von Humboldt fellowship. Presently, she is working as an Associate Professor in the Bioscience & Bioengineering department of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur, India.
